I used to work at a restaurant as a fry cook for a few years in england, my coworkers called me "Saucepan Dan" based on my name Daniel. Since then I've used it everywhere. Thank you for your question!

Back in '01 I ran a Half-Life Deathmatch server. Adam (Dr0sborn), was the first person to join my server and became a regular, stopping by very often and eventually daily. I handed him the responsibility of administrating the server since the server was growing exponentially. The rest is history!
